Plumbing involves installation, maintenance and repair of water supply lines, waste disposal systems, drainage pipes and all the appliances and fixtures. The role also entails assembly work – for which learners will be prepared, together with instruction to perform basic building work as required. This qualification covers all aspects of the plumbing industry and will qualify learners to operate as a plumber in the residential and industrial sectors.
Lessons include theory and practical components to optimise skills development and equip the learner with the necessary tools to perform plumbing activities that align with the current standards and regulations.
