National Open Week: 1–4 December 2025 | 12–16 January 2026
South Africa’s leading private vocational training institution, IETI, is once again inviting learners, parents, and working professionals to experience the IETI Open Week — a dynamic event that gives future students a firsthand look at the practical, career-ready training that defines the IETI experience.
From 1–4 December 2025 and again 12–16 January 2026, all IETI campuses across the country will open their doors to welcome new applicants and returning students who are finalising their registrations and preparing for the 2026 academic year.
This event is designed for:
- Recent school leavers who want to start a hands-on, job-ready career path;
- Parents or guardians helping their children take the next big step;
- Working individuals looking to upskill or change careers in a practical, accessible way.
During Open Week, visitors can:
✅ Complete their IETI applications and final registrations.
✅ Fit their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
✅ Meet lecturers, support staff, and student ambassadors.
✅ Explore the workshops, labs, and classrooms that bring IETI’s training to life.
“Our Open Week is more than a registration drive — it’s a celebration of opportunity”
says IETI Campus Principal.
“This is where students begin to see themselves in the world of work. It’s about getting ready — not just for studies, but for a career that makes an impact.”
Visitors can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with demonstrations, campus tours, and interactive sessions that highlight IETI’s commitment to preparing learners for real-world skills, employability, and purpose-driven success.
Spaces are limited — and as South Africa’s industries demand more skilled artisans and technical professionals, IETI continues to play a vital role in bridging that skills gap.
